Worked closely with Russ Henshaw to develop a one-off helmet graphic that feels distinctly Australian, built around animals and cultural references that matter to him. The key was balancing storytelling with clarity, keeping the layout bold and readable, and ensuring every element still sits comfortably inside Red Bull’s branding guidelines and sponsor visibility requirements.
A custom artwork concept combining Australian identity with a punchy, high-contrast graphic language, featuring kangaroos, a kookaburra and a Ned Kelly nod. The final design keeps the Red Bull marks hero, while the supporting illustration and patterning adds depth, movement and a bit of attitude without getting visually messy.
Final artwork was applied to Russ’s Red Bull helmet via a drip-print / wrap process, conforming the design cleanly across the curves and vents. Finished as a durable, high-impact product piece that holds up in use and photographs well from multiple angles.
