Local Youth Workshops

Local Youth workshops are often council driven and involve engaging local youth through community hubs. These workshops are typically run over 1 to 3 days, where Mike works with the students teaching them about concept development, drawing and applying art to various formats.

Students develop their artwork canvas over the course of the three days, giving them a piece of art to take home as well as developing a central mural piece along side which is painted on the final day of the workshop, typically on site (Temporary mural walls can be constructed). These workshops allow for positive engagement for all participants and all ages. (Ages 8 to 18 years, but not restricted).

His driving passion for creating stemmed from an early love of comic books and cartoons and later developed to the influences of action sports, urban and rural landscapes, people and wildlife, concrete and culture.
